B Once Z 1st, 4th and 5th in Bordeaux

B Once Z was the queen of the weekend at the CSI5*-W event in Bordeaux. The mare opened up with a fast and clear round in Friday’s 1.50 class to end fourth, then she went on winning Saturday’s 1.45 class before she again was clear in Sunday’s 1.50 class to end fifth.

Unfortunately Quebracho Semilly was not feeling 100 %, and Kathi retired him from the World Cup. Quebracho will now get a proper four week rest before his next competition.

Air Chin Z came with to gain experience, and was clear in both her opening classes – a 1.40 and a 1.45. In Sunday’s 1.60 Grand Prix – the biggest she has jumped to date – Air Chin had three rails down, but all were light mistakes and with some more mileage in the big classes Kathi is sure that the clear rounds will come.
