Just like at the Z-Tour in Lanaken a few weeks ago, the 6-year-old Gerton impressed again and jumped clear in every class at Tops International Arena this week.
Gerton opened up with a double clear in the 1.30m 6-year-old class placing third, was clear again in Tuesday’s class to place sixth and finished off with a 7th place in Wednesday’s competition with a jump-off. That makes it six clears and six ribbons in a row for this special son of Ukato.
The first part of the CSI2* event at Tops International Arena was also successful for Kathi’s student Carmen Christiaansen, who had several good rounds finishing off with a clear in Wednesday’s CSI2* Grand Prix aboard Air Chin Z – with only a single time penalty keeping them away from the jump-off.
Also Silvia Foppiani and Louis Wood from Kathi's partner-stable Villa Silvia Sporthorses in Italy jumped very nice clear rounds during the event, with the 6-year-olds French Cancan de la Pomme, Lou Lou VLS and the 7-year-old Fenneh again showing consistent performances.
