Kathi competed at the CSI2* show in Lier this weekend, with Cassius, Qitana VDV and Z Canturana. All the horses have been jumping very good: Cassius was clear in all three classes he jumped in his debut with Kathi, Z Canturana was also without fault on the first day and jumped a fantastic clear first round in the 1.45 small Grand Prix on Saturday but ran a bit empty in the jump-off. Qitana VDV also did a super job to go clear in Friday’s 1.40 placing fifth and then having one unlucky rail in the biggest class she has jumped to date - Sunday’s 1.45/1.50 Grand Prix.
Z Canturana and Qitana VDV are both quite green 9-year-olds, but are really starting to gain experience and Kathi is very happy with their development.
Last weekend, Kathi competed at the CSI2* event at Sentower Park where the 6-year-old Casper J&J Z had his comeback after a long and deserved holiday. Casper was placed twice second in the 6-year-old competition, once again proving his talent. Luckily for Kathi an investor has now bought Casper, to keep him with her. Furthermore, Benfica van Vlieringen continues her development and was clear in two of her three classes while Sakann also made a promising debut with Kathi jumping some very good rounds.
