Great start to the Sunshine Tour

Kathi has had a good start to the Sunshine Tour, and opened the first week of competition with a fourth place in the CSI3* 1.45 Grand Prix on Saturday. Riding Umeunig Z to a double clear round, Kathi decided to go for a steady jump-off to give him the best feeling possible considering this was his first outdoor show for the year. Umeunig has jumped fantastic in Vejer so far, and was also clear in his first class earlier in the week. 

The newly arrived 9-year-old Z Canturana has also been jumping very well, and was clear and placed in two of her three classes during the first week. Also the 10-year-old stallion Coriandolo has been jumping some good rounds, and Kathi is enjoying to get to know them both. 

The second week of competition gets underway tomorrow, with the youngsters in action. This will be Kathi's first international youngster classes with the 7-year-old Erasure and the 6-year-old Casper J&J Z.
