Shadi Banki’s nine year old Sky Fly SB recorded his best result to date when he ended second in Saturday’s 1.50 Grand Prix qualifier at CSI4* Mons this weekend. Sky Fly SB jumped a very fast clear round, and only had to see himself beaten by the far more experienced PSG Future with Martin Fuchs in the saddle. Kathi and Sky Fly were also clear in Thursday’s 1.45 class.

Umeunig Z - owned by Stal Het Oosterbrook BV and the Hüttenhuis family - also showed his quality this weekend, jumping clear in Thursday’s 1.40 class and then going on to jump another clean round in Sunday’s 1.50 class – the first one he has done with Kathi in the saddle. In the end Umeunig Z was placed 12th.

Kathi is of course very pleased with these two nine year olds that she has big expectations for when they both gain some more mileage and experience.
